Let’s talk about what you want to make clearer.
A Moodle project, a course to structure, a technical situation to understand or an idea to demonstrate? Let’s start by choosing the simplest way to discuss it.
Two simple ways to begin.
The first contact helps us understand the context. It does not automatically commit you to a project.
An exploratory meeting
Ideal when the situation has several dimensions or you would like to describe your environment verbally.
- 30-minute virtual meeting
- Clarify the need and the next step
- No technical access required to start
A structured message
Useful for asking a specific question, providing initial context or checking whether a need fits my services.
- Describe your desired outcome
- Specify Moodle, IOMAD or the other system involved
- Indicate the actual deadline, if there is one
Prepare only the useful information.
You do not need to write a complete specification. A few reference points already help us understand the situation and avoid mistaken assumptions.
Start without unnecessarily sharing access.
Most initial analyses can be based on a description, anonymized screenshots or a screen-sharing demonstration.
Never send them by email
If access becomes necessary, a dedicated temporary account is preferable.
Anonymize examples
Remove names, emails, results and other identifying information.
Define authorization
Read-only analysis must not be confused with permission to make changes.
Before getting in touch.
Do you work remotely?
Yes. Initial meetings, demonstrations and much of the support can take place virtually.
Do I need to give you administrator access?
No, not to begin with. Access must always be proportionate to the task and granted only when its necessity is established.
Can you provide a price immediately?
A sound estimate first requires clarification of the scope, constraints, responsibilities and expected deliverables.
Do you accept every request?
No. If a need is outside my scope or requires specialized responsibility, I will tell you clearly.
A clear conversation is better than a long list of assumptions.
Simply describe your situation. Together, we will determine whether a meeting, an analysis or another resource is the best next step.
